INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creation of new customer accounts in SFDC/SAP
  • Transformation of inquiries to quotes including clarification of the technical, commercial and export conditions;
  • Creation of quotes in accordance with regulations (exceptional price arrangements) and active follow-up of quotes;
  • Clarification of unclear orders against quotes (purchase conditions, terms and conditions and commissions according to regulations);
  • Order-and quote related negotiations (price, delivery time, modified products (TSP), certificates and so on) with PCs/suppliers and local reps;
  • Handover of technical and commercial orders via SAP (not including AOH) to the Shipment Export Coordinator (SEC);
  • Enter and maintain purchase orders in SAP-Active “partner”/supporter of local organizations/BDM/SEC/customers for all technical and commercial issues;
  • Active “partner”/supporter of local organizations/BDM/SEC in negotiations with customers;
  • Organization and execution support of inspections, certifications and customer seminars;
  • Active support in project acquisition;
  • Support BDM in general country specific business plans, performance evaluations and analysis and customer care (customers and partners);

Competencies/authorization:

  • Authorized to create commercial and technical offers in the name of and signing them (as per the actual signature regulation);
  • Authorized to enter/register project information into SFDC;
  • Authorized to forward information about the delivery status to partners and customers;
  • Authorized to do price negotiations with our Production Centers.

The requirements:

  • Higher technical degree
  • At least 3 years as a Sales person working with distributors as well as end customer. Experience in process automation industry is a plus (not an absolute requirement).
