Smart Solutions took part in the World Summit in Dubai 2023
From May 4th to 6th, 2023, the annual World Summit took place in Dubai. Among more than 900 participants from 93 countries (including France, Spain, Mexico, Germany, South Africa, Vietnam, etc.), was Tatiana Skachko, the CEO of Smart Solutions Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The opportunity to participate in this significant event for the business community was made possible thanks to the support of the Association of Business Women of Kazakhstan, of which Tatiana is an active member.
“It is evident that the role of women executives is growing in the region (Asian countries, the Arab world). In the UAE and Saudi Arabia, we are seeing an increasing number of women taking on top leadership positions, for example, in Google, on corporate boards, and among government officials. Female influence in the business environment is highly beneficial: workplace comfort is improving, a favorable internal climate is being formed, and interactive communication fosters mutual understanding,” – shares Tatiana Skachko, General Manager of Smart Solutions in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
The opinion of the General Manager of Smart Solutions in Central Asia aligns with the majority of summit participants. During his speech, Abdullah bin Tuk Al-Marry, the Minister of Economy of the UAE, emphasized that without women in entrepreneurship, business, and leadership, the target of achieving an annual GDP growth rate of 7.6% would be unattainable.
Since its inception in 1990, the World Summit has provided participants with the opportunity to explore cutting-edge management ideas in both the public and private sectors. It serves as a source of inspiration, showcasing the achievements and energy of key opinion leaders from around the world, including ministers, presidents, and business entrepreneurs. The summit facilitates expanding business connections, sharing accomplishments, and exchanging secrets of success.
This year, the main theme of the summit is “Leadership in the Era of Global Change,” encompassing various aspects observed worldwide. These include the role of women in large family businesses, the strengthening of gender equality in leadership, as well as economic (cryptocurrency) and technological (artificial intelligence) aspects that can influence business dynamics and success, as well as business succession. Special attention was given to the specifics of doing business in the UAE, regional megatrends, and nuances of negotiation processes. Many were surprised to learn that women make up 50% of the parliament and 30% of the UAE’s ministerial cabinet.
For Smart Solutions, participation in such a significant event is both recognition of the company’s achievements on a global scale and a stimulus for further development, particularly in terms of business expansion.
