Smart Solutions took part in the Eighth Plenary Session of the CICA Business Council in Baku

On May 20, 2025, the Eighth Plenary Session of the Business Council of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) was held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Tatyana Skachko, General manager of Smart Solutions Central Asia, joined the Kazakhstani delegation as a representative of the business community and took part in discussions on key directions for the region’s sustainable development.

The forum brought together representatives from the business sector, government bodies, and relevant agencies of the participating countries to address current economic and social challenges, as well as prospects for regional cooperation.

At the core of the discussion were the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the UN agenda. Participants focused on practical steps for implementing these goals across Asian countries, including:

  • Gender equality – ensuring women’s rights, increasing their participation in company leadership, government bodies, and boards of directors;

  • Environmental sustainability – advancing green energy, adopting eco-friendly technologies, and implementing sustainable business practices.

The session also addressed topics such as support for women’s entrepreneurship, the role of healthcare as a driver of sustainable growth, expanding SME participation in global supply chains, digitalization of the business environment, and state-level investment initiatives.

Speakers from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, India, China, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine, and other countries participated in the forum. The ideas and case studies presented became a foundation for constructive dialogue between the private and public sectors.

For Smart Solutions, participating in such events is not only an opportunity to voice our position, but also a chance to gain deeper insights into regional trends, learn about the initiatives of participating countries, and establish new international partnerships,” – said Tatyana Skachko, General Manager of Smart Solutions Central Asia.

The company is already successfully implementing projects with corporate clients in Azerbaijan and plans to further expand its presence in the region.

For Smart Solutions, platforms like CICA are a valuable opportunity to engage on equal terms, exchange expertise, and contribute to shaping a sustainable future for business in Asia.
