The Office in Azerbaijan Celebrates Its First Anniversary

The decision to open an office in Azerbaijan was driven by our desire to expand our presence on the international stage and strengthen our position in a region that is key to our business. The launch of the office in this country marked a new chapter in the development of Smart Solutions, and we are proud to say that the start has been successful.

In such a short period, our team has achieved impressive results:

  • Partnerships: We have built strong partnerships with leading companies in sectors such as FMCG, IT, Pharma, mobile devices, and many others.
  • Revenue Growth: The company’s average revenue has increased by 10%, indicating that our services are in demand and our development strategy is well-chosen.
  • Increase in Projects: The number of projects has tripled. We are pleased that our clients trust us to implement their most ambitious projects and see us as a reliable partner.

This year, we have not only significantly strengthened our market presence but also attracted many new, amazing partners and clients. We have become stronger, more creative, and more active. It is gratifying to see how our efforts are yielding real results. Our office team is ready to move forward with the same drive to reach new heights and achieve significant results,” – said Tatiana Skachko, – managing Partner at Smart Solutions Central Asia.

Additionally, opening an office in a new country always comes with a set of challenges. We had to adapt to local business conditions, study the specific market requirements, and establish all necessary processes.

In 2023-2024, the labor market in Azerbaijan can be characterized by several key trends: the number of vacancies in the construction sector increased from 16,781 to 21,048; in the trade and vehicle repair sector, there was also growth from 11,779 to 14,927 new jobs; the manufacturing industry showed a positive trend with an increase in new jobs from 7,585 to 8,641. The private sector remains active, creating 91.8% of all new vacancies.

However, there has been a reduction in vacancies in the fields of entertainment and recreation, healthcare, services, finance, and water, gas, and energy supply. Geographically, most new jobs (79.8%) are created in Baku. Significant growth in vacancies is also seen in economic regions such as Khizi-Absheron (5.9%), Nakhchivan (3.6%), Lankaran-Astara (1.7%), and Ganja-Dashkasan (1.6%).

In response to market demands, over the past year we have introduced the following services:

  • Recruitment
  • Outstaffing
  • Occupational safety and fire protection
  • IT support
  • Temporary staffing
  • Outplacement
  • Outsourcing of representation
  • Personnel administration
  • Salary market review
  • Foreign employee processing
  • Payroll
  • Mass recruitment

We thank all our employees for their dedication and hard work, which has made this year so successful. Special thanks to our clients and partners for their trust and support. New challenges and achievements lie ahead, and we are confident that we will reach even greater heights.
