Industry Manager in Mining


• Knowledge of the industry specifics of the industry assigned to him and speaks the language of insiders;
• Participation and active contribution to the designated industry networking meeting;
• Implementation of strategies by launching new products and solutions, cooperation on competitive pricing, training/presentations of trading partners and customers, performing marketing actions in the countries of the Regional Support Center, monitoring the success of sales and marketing actions in the designated industry, assisting representatives in strict coordination with countries’ Business development managers for the development of industry competencies and resources;
• Working closely together to support country business development managers in developing sales in the relevant industry in order to increase market share;
• Understanding market behavior, local business-related legislation, and customs regulations;
• Responsible person and driving force for the implementation of industry business plans, sales strategies and the creation of indicators for the implementation of agreed actions;
• Conducting seminars for clients and representatives in the relevant industry;
• Trainings/presentations for employees of local organizations on technical and market aspects in the relevant industry;
• Support and consultation of local organizations on the development of the relevant industry;
• Coordination of business development managers in the country / internal sales engineers in the selection of technical means for everyday business and projects in the relevant industry;
• Support, if necessary, in logistics issues, for example, order processing and commercial topics
• for example, payment terms, contract renegotiation, and so on;
• Coordination and support of Marcom functions in conducting campaigns, newsletters and related social media events in the relevant industry;
• Input and support of a global industry manager in collecting a reference application to a reference database in the designated industry;
• Use the CRM/SFDC system in accordance with the provided manual;
• Responsible for quality, complaint management, safety, health and environmental aspects within its competence.


• At least 3 years as a sales/industry marketing manager/ product manager or similar specialist working with various channels (distributors, partners, end users);
• Knowledge of the market and industry of the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus;
• Experience in the process automation industry is a plus;
• Fluency in English;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
